William Cicci joined the Army in 1997 and served as a Calvary Scout through 2003.  His posts included Fort Hood, TX, Fort Knox, KY, and Camp Gary Owen, South Korea.  Cicci was deployed to Kuwait in 1999.  He was interviewed in 2007 during which time he was a member of the National Guard.  His interview discusses his early fascination with the military, the ways in which the Army instilled discipline, and what he views as unreliable war reporting.
